The South Zanesville Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the South Zanesville Fire Department by providing funding for vital life-saving equipment, tools, and upgrades. Operated entirely by volunteers, we work tirelessly to raise money through community events, fundraisers, and donations to ensure our firefighters have the resources they need to keep our community safe. Every contribution helps us make a difference—because when we support our first responders, we support everyone.

Meat Raffle
Our meat raffle’s are held several times thought-out the year. Its some of our volunteers favorite event to do.
Pancake Day
Did you know the famous Zanesville Pancake day is run by our volunteers every year.
Chicken BBQ
The Chicken BBQ is our longest running event. We have hosted this event every year since 1962.
County Fair BBQ
Every year we have our own BBQ stand at the Muskingum Country Blue Ribbon Fair. We think we server the best BBQ at the fair.
